LSES members met on Friday, October 16, at the Bossa Nova Hotel to discuss ongoing and upcoming projects. Two main projects were discussed:

The first one was the presentation of the CERES project and its large impact on the future of Renewable Energy jobs in Lebanon. This project also requires the selection and appointment of dedicated staff. The president presented the job positions to be filled and called for candidates to apply and send their CVs for selection.

The second  topic was the new PV Assessment Tool, developed by LSES in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO). Available in both Excel and web-based formats, this tool provides a fast and user-friendly way to size photovoltaic (PV) systems—with or without battery storage—and estimate investment costs, potential savings, and payback periods.

Designed with accessibility in mind, it can be used effectively even by non-specialists.
